We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information*.

In-Store Pickup

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days.

Open-Box and Clearance Items

Please note that all open-box and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Below are the definitions and conditions for each category:

  • Clearance Items: These are brand-new items that are being offered at a discount because they are limited to stock on hand. They come with the original manufacturer’s warranty and are in perfect working condition.
  • Open-Box with Damaged or Missing Packaging: These items are in excellent working condition but the packaging may be damaged or not original. All components that affect the functionality are included, although some non-essential items may be missing.
  • Open-Box - Preinstalled: Items in this category have been previously installed and may show signs of being mounted or used. They are verified to work as expected, despite any visual indication of installation.
  • Open-Box with Cosmetic Blemishes: These products function as intended but have minor cosmetic flaws such as scratches or dents. These blemishes do not affect the performance of the item.

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.


Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.

Return Items In-Store

Returns must be made within 30 days. All returns must be in brand new condition and accompanied with all original packaging, paperwork, and receipt. Funds must be refunded to the card that was originally used for the credit card transaction. Cash refunds over $100 will be issued in the form of a check, mailed within 10 business days.  Special order items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  All returns are subject to manager approval.  Products ineligible for return/refund: gift cards, clearance items, labor fees, shipping, and delivery fees. 

Returns for Online Purchases Online Purchase

If you’re not in love with your purchase within the first 30 days, we will happily issue a refund, but we have a few things we need you to know to make it a smooth and easy process.

You may ship your returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)

We accept returns and exchanges on full price items within 30 days of taking ownership. All returns/exchanges must be brand new and accompanied with all original packaging, paperwork, and receipt. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment method.

Sale or closeout items are not returnable.

In the event of a return, the customer will pay all shipping fees. We do not provide pre-paid shipping labels.

In the event a package is reported as being stolen, we will help you file a claim with the shipping carrier but are unable to reimburse or replace your item.

Items meeting the above conditions can be returned to any of our store locations in South Florida (see Return Items In-Store above) or shipped to the following return address, please be sure to include all packaging and a copy of your ecommerce order receipt showing your order number (your order number will be a 15 digit number, similar to this 111422-034852-368)

Returns & Exchanges

We understand the importance of the right product and the right fit, and we want you to love your Trek and Bontrager gear. If you’re not in love with your purchase within the first 30 days, we will take it back without any additional charges or hassle. In-store purchases are subject to individual retailer restrictions.

Questions regarding your purchase should be directed to the Trek retailer of delivery. Trek warehouses will not accept returned bikes or framesets.

To qualify for a return:
- The item(s) must have been purchased from
- The return must be requested within 30 days of purchase.
- Proof of purchase must be provided upon request.


If a refund is initiated, the refunded amount will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refund credits usually appear on your account within 10 days, but may take up to 30 days depending on your bank.

Making a return:

Return to Trek retailer: Bring your order, with proof of purchase, to your local Trek retailer. Bike returns must be returned to the local Trek retailer who assembled your bike. Need help locating your nearest Trek Bicycle Store? Click this link:

Return by mail: Return shipping is always free for customers with registered accounts on Log in to your account to print a prepaid shipping label.

If you checked out as a guest and do not have an account, you are responsible for all return shipping charges. Mail your return with the original packing slip to the Trek address printed on your packing slip. We suggest return by a carrier that can track delivery, such as UPS, FedEx, or Registered USPS mail.

Locally online purchase

Bring your order, with proof of purchase, to the Trek Bicycle Store you picked up the item(s) from. Returns must be made within 30 days. All returns must be in brand new condition and accompanied with all original packaging, paperwork, and receipt. Funds must be refunded to the card that was originally used for the credit card transaction. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to process.

30-Day Unconditional Guarantee return

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your Bontrager or Trek aftermarket purchase, return the item, along with the original sales receipt to any of our Trek Bicycle Store of Florida locations within 30 days for an exchange or refund. Think of it as a 30-day test ride.

This guarantee includes Trek and Bontrager aftermarket components, apparel, and accessories. Bontrager OE (original equipment) componentry sold as part of a bicycle is excluded. Used items must be cleaned for a return. If you return merchandise that is not cleaned or laundered, we will return it back to you.

Warranty Request

At Trek Bicycle Stores of Florida, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to providing you with the best customer experience possible. That's why we offer a warranty policy on all of the products we sell, covering any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The following warranty policy applies to products purchased after January 1st, 2023:

Bicycle Frames:
Trek Bikes and Electra offer a limited lifetime warranty on all bicycle frames. This warranty applies to the original owner and covers any defects in materials or workmanship that result in a failure of the frame.

Bontrager branded components have a two-year warranty on all components, including but not limited to, handlebars, stems, saddles, seatposts, pedals, wheels, and other parts. This warranty applies to the original owner and covers any defects in materials or workmanship that result in a failure of the component.

Trek, Bontrager, and Electra offer a one-year warranty on all accessories, including but not limited to, baskets, bags, racks, horns, bells, and more. This warranty applies to the original owner and covers any defects in materials or workmanship that result in a failure of the accessory.

Warranty Limitations:
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as the wear of brake pads, tires, or other consumable items. It also does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modification or repair, or installation of components not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold.

Warranty Process:
To make a warranty claim, you must contact one of our locations, either by phone or in-person, within the warranty period. One of our staff members will evaluate the claim and, if necessary, send the product for inspection. If the product is found to be defective, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Bring the effected Trek or Bontrager item(s) to any Trek Bicycle Store of Florida, along with your purchase receipt. Our sales associates will help you begin your warranty claim.


For returns or exchanges, a bicycle must be in brand new condition and requires a manager's approval. All Strider balance bikes are non-refundable.

Exceptions: special order items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
